Application passwords are useful if you wish to use an application which does not support 2-Step verification.
- Visit https://myaccount.google.com/ and click on "Security".
- Scroll down to "Signing in to Google", click on "App passwords".
- If prompted, verify your identity.
- Choose a service and the type of device you wish to use. Click "Generate".
- Use the generated password for your application. Note that once you click "Done", you will not be able to access the app password again.
